Blogger is a service by Google that allows you to make your own blog or site with custom domain. You can open a single or multi-user blogs with this service.

Blogger Features

You might think, as a free service this is very limited but the limitations are not so much as you think. Actually there are a lot of features you can use. I discussed some of them below.

Adding a Custom Domain

Blogger Limitations

Although there are some limitations on Blogger but I believe these will not prevent your work so much. Some important limitations are described below ─

  • Number of Blogs: 100 blogs per account.
  • Blog Description: 500 characters maximum.
  • Number of Labels: 5,000 unique labels per blog, 20 unique labels per post (with at most 200 characters).
  • Number of Posts per day: Only 50 posts can be published per day.
  • Uploading Files: Image files (JPG, GIF, or PNG) and video files can be uploaded on you blog. And all other files such as ─ MP3, ZIP, PSD, PDF, DOC, DOCX, etc. can not be uploaded.
  • Authors or Admins: 100 invitations per blog.
  • Account Suspension: If your site violating any terms of service, your site will be suspended by Blogger without any notice. Sometimes repeated violation may cause your whole Google account to be suspended.
